ROUTE CONSULTATION:
A $35.00 fee will be added to all outfitting packages as indicated. This will cover
the trip consultation and planning. This is a per group charge.
GROUND SHUTTLE:
We can shuttle you to your destination or pick you up at the end of your trip,
but the road has not been maintained and is riddled with washouts and washboard.
We have had to raise our shuttle rates to $100.00 per person / one way to cover
the costs of increased gas prices and maintenance.
PARK PERMITS:
We have Park Permits.
CROWN LAND CAMPING:
Fees for camping on crown land are charged per person per day. Children 16
years and under are FREE. Area restrictions may apply.
FISHING LICENSES:
Licenses are available at many locations in Red Lake. Full limit licenses as
well as Conservation Licenses are available.
OPEN FIRES:
Ontario permits open fires for cooking and warmth. We try to keep you
updated on the forest fire conditions. Please be sure all camp fires are out and
cold before leaving the area.
APPROVED LIFE PRESERVERS:
Only lifejackets sanctioned by the Canadian Min. of Transportation are to be
used and kept with you while canoeing.
MAPS:
Topographical maps of the area you will be traveling are available through
us. We also have tyvex maps of Woodland Caribou Park that can be purchased
through our office.
INDIVIDUAL FOOD PACKAGES:
Packs consist of three full meals per day. A cook kit is included in the
price. A menu list is available upon request.
RESERVED LODGING:
We can make reservations for you. Booking early is necessary to have the
best chance to acquire lodging for the dates of your holiday.
FLOAT PLANE TRAVEL:
We book all our flights with Chimo Air Service. They are reliable and run an
efficient service. Located at the lights in Red Lake, we make all your
reservations and they will be waiting for you to arrive at your designated
departure time. It is suggested that you arrive at the air base one hour before
your departure time.
PARKING:
Parking of your vehicle at the Air Base is free of charge. |
